Yes. The core POS, accounting, inventory, khata and payroll features are free to use, with no subscription and no card required. If we ever add optional paid add-ons in future, the essentials you rely on every day stay free.
Does it work without internet?
Completely. Sauda is offline-first — every sale, bill and ledger entry is saved on your device immediately. When a connection is available, your data syncs in the background across all your devices. You can run the whole shop with no signal.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Use the web, mobile and desktop apps together with one account. Your products, sales and khata stay in sync, so the counter PC, the owner’s phone and the back-office laptop all show the same numbers.
Is my data safe and private?
Your business data belongs to you. It is encrypted on your device and in transit, isolated so only your business can ever access it, and we never sell it. You can export everything at any time.
Do I need to know accounting?
No. The selling screen is built for speed, not for accountants. Proper double-entry books run underneath automatically, so your reports are always correct — without you touching a ledger.
Can I move my existing data in?
Yes — import your product catalogue, parties and opening balances from an Excel sheet. Sauda recognises common column names, so most lists import with little or no clean-up.
